Facilities Subcommittee

The following members were present: Donald Lamothe, Chairperson, Susan Lopes, Vice-Chairperson, Michael Pise, Dana Cutter and Deborah Styckiewicz.

Also present were Marjorie Wojcik, Richard W. Rege, Jr., Stephen Nembirkow, Sarah Hoar and Stephen Dauphines (Mount Vernon Group).

Call to Order

The meeting was called to order by Mr. Lamothe, Chairperson, at 7:00 PM.

1.         Approval of Minutes – July 26, 2006

VOTED: On motion by Mrs. Styckiewicz to approve the minutes of the Facilities Subcommittee meeting held on July 26, 2006.

Hand vote – 5 present in favor and the motion PASSED.

2.         Reuse of the “Old CHS” and “Ripple Effect Redistricting”

The Subcommittee discussed the draft  Massachusetts School Building Authority Statement of Interest for the Refurbish and Reuse Plan for the Old Chicopee High School.  Mr. Nembirkow will make the suggested changes and return to the Subcommittee with a revised document for further discussion.

VOTED:  On motion by Mr. Cutter to adjourn at 8:15 PM.

Hand vote – 5 present in favor and the motion PASSED.
