Committee As A Whole Meeting of the School Committee

The following members of the School Committee were present: Dana Cutter, David Barsalou, Michael Pise, Debra Styckiewicz, Donald Lamothe, Mary Beth Costello and Chester Szetela.

Absent were Mayor Michael Bissonnette, Marjorie Wojcik, Susan Lopes, Sharon Nawrocki and Susan Lecca.

Also present were Richard W. Rege, Jr., Sarah Hoar, Jeanette DeForge (The Republican) and Kathy Mitchell (Chicopee Register).

Call To Order:

The meeting was called to order by Mr. Lamothe, Representative to City Government, at 7:07 PM.

1.         Superintendent’s Annual Statistical Report

The Committee discussed the Superintendent’s Annual Statistical Report.  The discussion focused on suspension data, student retention, teacher attendance, teacher certification and grant funds.

Adjournment:

VOTED:  On motion by Mr. Cutter to adjourn at 9:15 PM.

Hand vote – 7 present in favor – 5 absent and the motion PASSED.
