Approval of Minutes:
08-1-5 Move that, the minutes of the Regular Meeting of the School Committee held on January 2, 2008 be approved.
08-1-6 Move that, the transfer of funds (3) totaling $271,997.65 be approved.
08-1-7 Move that, the bills totaling $1,092,428.09 (Warrants S011108 and S011808) be approved.
Reports:
08-1-8 Move that, the Report on Personnel Action Taken be received.
08-1-9 Move that, the minutes of the Policy and Human Resources Subcommittee held on January 9, 2008 be received.
Communications and Other Matters:
08-1-10 Move that, the recommendation of the Materials Selection Committee to keep the book, The Wicked Heart by Christopher Pike on library shelves be upheld, as recommended by the Policy and Human Resources Subcommittee.
08-1-11 Move that, the purchase of Destiny from Follett Software Company for both middle schools to aid Librarians in selecting quality materials be approved, funding from the Prior Year account, as recommended by the Policy and Human Resources Subcommittee.
08-1-12 Move that, the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 School Calendars be approved.
08-1-13 Move that, the City Clerk be authorized to use the following locations for the Presidential Primary to be held on February 5, 2008:
