PROHIBITED USE OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS

Use of any tobacco products within the school buildings, school facilities or on school grounds or school busses by any individual, including school personnel and students, is prohibited at all times.

Students determined to be in violation of this policy shall be subject to disciplinary action pursuant to the student discipline code up to and including expulsion.

Staff determined to be in violation of this policy shall be subject to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal.

This policy shall be promulgated to all staff and students in appropriate handbooks and publications.

Signs shall be posted in all Chicopee Public School buildings and on Chicopee Public School grounds informing the general public of the district policy and requirements of state law.
